Mukta Venkatesh is an Indian painter. She is renowned for her innumerable floral paintings.[1]

Mukta Venkatesh was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu to A. Madhaviah, a renowned writer in Tamil and English. She was the third of the eight children.
As a child, she drew whatever subject that fascinated her. Looking at her talent, her father appointed Ms Hope of the Madras School of Arts, as her drawing teacher.
Mukta Venkatesh use to paint flowers in the morning.[2] She did a lot of floral paintings in Mysore.
Mukta was married to M. Venkatesh of Mysore Railways. They have two daughters.
